People arrested for selling modchipped Xboxes. This is kind of the same as the one I was griping about with the UK. They really got them for selling an Xbox with 77 games loaded on its hard drive. But because of the DMCA they also tossed in the charge of violating it for circumventing the copy protection. This IMO is insane. They should get them solely for pirating the games. Mod chips still have other valid uses like permitting Homebrew game development and playing imported games that should be covered under fair use.

These people should be strung up, but not for the reason that they headlined the article with. They don’t even mention the fact that they pirated the games until the 6th and 7th paragraph out of 9. Pathetic.
