R&C2, FFX-2, FFXI

Man, Ratchet and Clank 2 is good. They didn’t mess with the formula much, which is also a good thing. I picked it up last wednesday, and already tossed 22 hours on it, and have everything but the 1-million-bolts-plus armor and weapons. I’m short 2 platinum bolts as well. I’ll have to track those down. I’m on the final boss (I think), and keep getting about 15% left on his health before one of the side-turrets nail me. It seems about as hard as Drek, maybe a little less. The bits about Captain Qwark are funny. They tell about Qwark flushing himself to freedom, then you find a qwark action figure in the septic system. Hahaha. Watch out for those Qwark fanboys, they can be about as, err, inept as Qwark himself. :)

FFX-2 came out yesterday, which means that I’ll be able to get it today. (grr software etc.) I don’t know if I’ll play it right away though. I’m thinking I’ll keep it in reserve for awhile.

I’m so weak… I told myself I’d wait till I finished FFX-2 before I bought FFXI. I have it now. I’ve installed the whole thing but I haven’t activated my account yet. I spent about 2 hours last night playing with the PlayOnline viewer and I signed up for Tetra Master this morning. I’ll probably play that for a bit tonight. I don’t know if I’ll activate my FFXI until maybe friday. (More time then)

I’m a bit worried about their system of charging at the first of every month. That’s about the worst time for me as far as money goes. I get paid typically on the 1st or 2nd. I’ll have to make sure I keep $15 in the account from now on…
