You may or may not know that I have way too many games. I frequently start a game, and go half way, or most of the way through it in the first few weeks I have it, then never quite finish it. ZOE was like that. I had 3 hours finished on it, and just stuck it on the shelf when I bought my Gamecube, thinking that it was probably a 20 hour game and I’d finish it later. Pikmin, on the other hand, I have been playing an hour or two here and there for a month. My first run through it, I had 25 parts found in 30 days. Not too bad, but not enough to get the good ending.
Well, This week I started another run. I had 15 parts done in 10 days as of saturday morning, and I blasted through and found the remaining 15 parts by the 25th day. Good game, albeit a bit on the short side. Decent replay value, trying to get the number of days down as low as possible.
Later that day, I tossed ZOE in on the player, thinking it would probably take all week to finish it. Boy was I wrong. I finished it off in a mere 2 hours from starting my old save game. 5 hours for the whole game. It has 4 difficulty levels though, so I started another round at Normal difficulty. I polished the game off in just over 3 hours. Man, 8 hours and I’ve finished half of the difficulty levels. I’m glad I only paid $15 for that game. I suspect the people who bought it for $50 were disappointed. It’s very pretty though, and worth $10-$15. :)
This certainly has to be one of the most productive weeks as far as getting games out of the way. 4 in one week.
On the other side, I took Pikmin, Jak and Daxter, and Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance in and traded them today. I then put the $31 credit toward a $10 copy of Megaman Legend, and paying off the last $20 on my FFX-2 reservation.
Current status:
Ratchet & clank 2: Paid off, getting it in 10 days.
FFX-2: Paid off, getting it in 16 days.
In other news, I’m going to be putting up a listing of all my games on my website, I’ve put it off far too long. Look for it in the next few weeks.
Pikmin, Zone of Enders.
