Books:
I started reading the Odyssey collection from Keith Laumer, but then a chapter in I realized that I had read this book before… I realy need to shell out for a few more e-books!
Games:
14: Gurumin: A Monstrous Tale. Fun game, a bit of an action rpg. Platforming elements are tough though, it’s not very forgiving. Camera is dreadful on the final boss, but the game in general is pretty fun.
15: Sam and Max: The Mole, The Mod, and The Meatball. A very short sam and max game, I wasn’t too impressed.
16: Sam and Max: Abe Lincoln Must Die. Probably the best one in the first season. No wonder they made this the free game in the series. Definitely worth playing!
17: Sam and Max: Reality 2.0. Another excellent game, It’s rather trippy, and the ending is basically a text adventure game.
18: Sam and Max: The Bright Side of the Moon. Not as good as the previous two, but still better than the first 3. Worth playing.
19: Sam and Max: Beyond the Alley of the Dolls. Season 3 continues its excellent writing. Definitely worth playing this one. Heck, all of season 3 is worth getting…
20: Dragon Quest 9. Finished the whole game in a month, took about the same amount of game hours as FF13, but took me less than ¼th the time to accumulate that many hours. Darn addictive, this one.
Videos:
50: Babylon 5: A Call to Arms. Not bad, it has Jerry Doyle in it. 2.
51: Air: The Motion Picture. Inferior to the tv series in pretty much every way. 0.
52: Battlestar Galactica Season 1. Interesting, but the ending was just annoying. I hate this feeling that with the whole thing, the cylons are just experimenting on the people like rats in a maze. 2
53: Battlestar Galactica season 2. This one’s ending is just odd. Adama completely does a 180 on his views as of the end of the first season. Makes little sense for his character to flipflop like that. 1
54: Moon. Much like the XKCD comic about the mars rover, except it’s a person… 4.
55: Futurama: Into the wild green yonder. I think this is only the second Futurama show I’ve ever hated this much. 0.
56: Doctor Who: Carnival of Monsters. Continues the 3rd doctor tradition of setting up political strawmen and then knocking them down. Dreadful. 0.
57: Doctor Who: The Green Death. Even worse than the previous one. This show was 2:40 long, and after 30 minutes I had resolved to skip all of the rest of the 3rd doctor’s stuff and go straight for the 4th doctor.
