My games shelf is truly out of control. I can’t polish games off fast enough to keep up anymore.
I just finished Dragon Quest 8 the other day. 81 hour 45 minutes as of the end of the ending sequence. I also finished getting all the trophies in Ratchet and Clank 3.
The problem is that this week I picked up 2 new games for my birthday. Grandia 3 and Wild Arms 4. As of this morning, I had 3 games on my shelf that I hadn’t even stuck in my PS2. Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana, and the two previously mentioned games. I pushed 3 hours into Grandia 3. The game system is still as fun as I remember it from the Dreamcast days. Is it just me, or are a great number of good RPG series and development houses moving over to Squarenix? First Level 5 goes over to do DQ8, now Gamearts has joined Squarenix with the Grandia series…
I also put 3 hours into Romancing SaGa and pushed my event rank up to 19. I’m very close now to the end of the game at 20 hours.
But I still have hundreds of hours left on my game shelf. Suikoden 4, Phantom Brave, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Disgaea, Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition (Ocarina & majora’s mask), Skies of Arcadia, Wild arms 3, Star Ocean 3, Zelda Wind Waker, Starwars KOTOR, and Dark Cloud 2… to name most of them.
Don’t even get me started about how many hours I’m going to voluntarily put into GC2 even though that game never really ends. ;)
… And all those PS1 games that aren’t on that shelf…
